"I wonder if he knew how much the Western Press and Democratic Party would help?" If you look at the excerpts from the Ambassador and Saddam, under 'Conflicting Interests' the 5th paragraph starts "I do not belittle you...Yours is a society which cannot accept 10,000 dead in one battle."
Suffice it to say that he learned the lessons taught in Vietnam that Americans indeed cannot stomach death, especially when it's packaged by the press and (other) lefties. Just as General Giap and friends counted on this 5th column to win political victory, so has Saddam striven to emerge victorious. Saddam knew!!

Robert thanks for visiting! After visiting your site I am pretty sure that no evidence or proof would suffice to convince you of any sort of linkage between Saddam and Al Queda.

Thank you!

I remember listening to the report of Saddam's threat vividly when it came out during the run up to Gulf-War I. Everyone laughed. I distinctly remember the scorn in Peter Jenning's voice.

Your report is better than anything I've read in the past 2 years in discussing these links. Only, no one has really touched the fact that Saddam's links to terrorists went up a full order of magnitude prior to Gulf War II. He enlisted legions of terrorists to suicide-bomb the US Army as it attacked. These were slain in the hundreds. (See the official Army History of the first few months of Gulf War II.)

"It is not an indication of a link between Saddam and Al Qaeda"

Talk about red herrings. Declared intent to use state-sponsored terror isn't Al Qaeda. Glad you cleared that up, Bob.

So we have a Dictator threatening to send individual Arabs to harm us and this isnÂ’t a smoking gun?

No. It's only a threat to use terrorism against America. It is not an indication of a link between Saddam and Al Qaeda.

Moron Islamic fundamentalists want to kill a new york judge with pipe bombs because he put away their friend for killing an Israeli. One of the morons has a Palestinian terrorist uncle. He calls Baghdad for help, and ends up getting Ramzi Yousef and Abdul Yasin, and the pipe bombing plot turns into the 'collapse the world trade center' plot.

Afterwards, Yasin goes back to Iraq, Yousef goes to Pakistan.

In 94, Yousef and his uncle, Khalid Sheik Muhammad, concoct the 'project Bojinka' plot. We now know KSM to be the mastermind of the 9/11 plot, and project Bojinka to be the 'blueprint' for the attacks.

Iraq's behind WTC attack #1, everyone knows that. Were they behind #2 and just got slightly better at covering their tracks?
