Israeli PM Accepts Cease-Fire Deal…ISRAEL DEFEATED…the West loses another one.

The monumental error of this boggles the mind. The sacrifice of the Israelis who have lost their lives fighting to end Hezballah’s reign of terror in Southern Lebanon has all been for naught. The poor people of Lebanon whose lives, homes and families were destroyed in the war have paid a dear price for nothing. Israel has finally been beaten on the battlefield.

JERUSALEM Aug 11, 2006 (AP)— Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has accepted an emerging Mideast cease-fire deal and informed the United States of his decision, Israeli officials said Friday.

Olmert will recommend that his government approve the deal in its meeting on Sunday, the officials said on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to brief journalists on the internal discussions.

This is a tremendously sad day for the west in the fight against Islamic totalitarianism. One of our most steadfast allies has been stabbed in the back by the cowardice of their leadership and a feckless ally who cannot face our enemy regardless of brave words spoken so well Sept 20, 2001. This is not the first time a superior army has been defeated by the cowardice of its leaders but this defeat happened to the west in a time of crisis. When we could not appear weak and vacillating we were.

The retreat of Israel back across its borders, should it happen based on UN Resolutions, will be similar to the retreat of the British at Dunkirk.

Others are not happy either starting with Michelle Malkin white flag–and Hizballah’s’  Allah over at Hot Air is not exactly jumping for joy. Rick at Rightwing Nut House says Olmert was humbled…yup if we are wondering what the Democrats would do in war we have only to look at Olmert. Counter Terrorism blog is not exactly popping champagne.
