Good job Papadoc. I'm extremely fed up with the current leadership and the completely inept foreign policy noobs. After the nuke went off, State Dept officials should have been fired. The six-party talks are a complete joke. Hang in there bud.

Well glad to see a few people as depressed about all this shit. My wife is even more depressed than either of us...she has been saying for a while that we are all doomed.

Nice post Pierre. Where do these elites come from?

These failed elites come from affluent suburbs, showered with material wealth, sheltered from real work, protected from law by the family lawyer, guaranteed admission to exclusive schools and straight into careers arranged by their family. The elites despise crude working class people and everything that they stand for. These elites have more in common with international elites than they do with the common American working man. Life is a game to these elites, a meaningless game. In their world, the family attorney is the most powerful weapon to be deployed when trouble brews. Hence their preference for discussion, delay and negotiation. Let someone else take care of the dirty details later is their mantra. They are the center of their universe and their happiness is all that matters. Everyone else is a prop in the movie that is their life.

I've seen these little pricks in industry, in fact, I've spent a lifetime cleaning up their messes as a manufacturing engineer. And if this is what colleges today are turning out, we are doomed. These self-centered prima donnas will unwittingly usher in the collapse of Western civilization.
