Democrats insult Americans and yet Republicans are behind in the polls…

Just how bad have the Republicans messed up these last two years when they are behind a group of politicians who make a habit of insulting Americans? Democrats hate, Soldiers, Christians, Families, Heterosexuals, and the working middle class as well as the upper class and the Republicans have deftly managed to place themselves behind in the polls.

Republicans biggest enemies are not the Democrats. No sir, their biggest enemies are their own failed attempts at mimicking Democrats. Where is Defense spending as a % of GDP under Republicans? Is it higher or lower than when Clinton was in office. Take a look and you might be surprised…for a headstart our current spending as a % of GDP is 3.7%. Under Clinton our spending held over 4% the for the majority of his 8 years. With years well over 4.5% and he didn’t have a war to contend with.

Why did we spend trillions on Prescription Drug benefit when it has given no advantage to Republicans at the polls. Certainly there was not a rational reasonable case for more government intrusion into the huge mess that Government policies have already made of Medical care in the states. The only case that could be made was it would help Republicans at the polls. So…?

The No Child Left Behind fiasco has similarly been a huge waste of money that resembled nothing if not a typical Democrat program to buy off voters. How many did we win?

I am enthusiastically voting for Republicans this fall because our country cannot afford the maniacs in the Democratic party being guided by Move On, winning. But that doesn’t mean I have to be happy about it. We need to get rid of those RHINOS in power in the Republican party who keep advocating that Republicans act like Democrats. It hasn’t won us anything and may lose us this election.

Hmm..how about a bit more bombast friend? Since when did the glaring incompetence of this president and his rubber stamp congress make us any safer. As I see it, and MOST OF THE COUNTRY, out enemy is free as a bird somewhere in Warizistan, in a territory given to him by Pakistan and underwritten by U.S. money. Why did we withdraw (err cut and run) from Afghanistan and invade a country that had no WMD’s and could have been easily contained? Why is Osama still alive after what he did? Why are more muslims falling to extremism due to the invasion of Iraq? Yes…questions..questions. Thinking is a bitch I know, it’s much better to let blind fear rule you and give fools like Bush/Cheney/Rummy and the rest of the PNAC rats (quickly jumping off that ship I see..) carte blanche to do anything they like and make their friends in the Oil Co’s (Record Profits anyone? A 10 BILLION DOLLAR quarter anyone?) wearlthy beyond belief so that the whole sick machine can keep feeding itself and stay in power a the expense of fools like you and the Christian Right (who they actually just see as tools. Read the Kuo book, look up Ralph Reed and Abrahmoff’s manipulation of the christian right, and the hypocrisy of a Ted Haggard). Had enough? Obviously not.

  3. Hmm…Geoman your ignorance of who will die is striking. The enemy makes no distinction about who he kills. Lucky us it could be either you or I. Your parties cowardice though insures that one of us will die as the enemy strikes us to start his negotiations.

  4. People,
If you can’t stand the fact that the Democrats won then get out – leave – it was a fair election and the majority spoke. Democrats had to live with their candidate winning the popular vote for how many years – now it’s your turn to be the whiny party – to be losers. Eat shit and die.

Yeah right — There are no civil Democrats. This was a watershed election and it will not be good for America.

    America the land of dunderheads.

  6. To Kevin Schmidt;

Civility? The readers and writes at the Daily Kos are the future of the DNC. This is what America has to look forward to with the DNC. You, Sir, are out of your mind if you think these leftist socialists are going to be civil. Kerry, Kennedy, Dean, et al, say the most vile things whenever they choose and for some reason the voters bought it. The MSM will continue to spout DNC talking points with each broadcast, as well.
I don’t personally understand how or why voters voted as they did. America will most definitely go backwards, taxes will go UP, unemployment will go UP, the stock market will go DOWN and recession will ensue. This because the DNC will undo the fiscal policies of the POTUS.
    You heard it here first.

It’s idiotic crap like the quote above that sunk the GOP. The voters are sick and tired of it. That’s one reason why America rejects the Republican agenda, and rightly so.

Now that the Democrats have taken back Congress, perhaps we can have some accountabilty and civility for a change.

  8. head in the sand? Eh. Whatever.

Your ideals have been evaluated by the electorate. You lost.

  9. Sometime back I watched the local Republican meeting on a local-access station. The state head of the party was openly wondering why there were still Christians in his party. He surely never wanted them, and always expected them to leave any moment. No loyalty, you know.
We’ve got some fixing of politics to do.
