Whether you agree with the war in Iraq or not the fallen of the military deserve all of the solemnity and respect one can muster. So it some anxiousness that I read that a group of communists plan on organizing an Anti War demonstration that “will assemble at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Constitution Gardens) at 12 noon in Washington, D.C.and march to the Pentagon.” Color me skeptical but I don’t believe that any group which publishes reasons like this:
While the focus of the recent years has been to use military power and violence against the Arab people, the Pentagon has been targeting peoples and nations all over the world. U.S. troops occupy South Korea. U.S. nuclear weapons target North Korea. Interventionist actions are already taking place in the Philippines, and are planned against Cuba, Venezuela, and throughout South and Central Asia.
Have any intention of showing respect and solemnity for the Vietnam War Memorial. For an example of just how much respect and solemnity they can muster take a look at this video of another “march” they organized.

In answer to this impending desecration of the Vietnam War Memorial there is a call out for Veterans and anyone else who feels that it is wrong to politicize the Vietnam War Memorial to gather and protect the memorial. No violence just a wall of like minded folks between the Communists, Black Bloc’s and other assorted nutjobs who intend on desecrating the national gravestone to our fallen.
These sites are supporting the effort and I hope that if you have a blog of some note that you will join us to publicizing this issue. We need as many folks out there as we can get. When ANSWER and the Mainstream Media collaborate to set up this vile photo op in front of the gravestones of our Fallen lets pray that its ruined by the hundreds or perhaps even thousands of honorable folks standing at the Memorial who say, protest if you will, but not on the memories of the fallen.
