Stopping Illegal Immigration a winning issue for Republicans?

McCain no matter what he has stated in these last few months is as open borders as President Bush is. We can tell this by his campaign employing one of the most notorious open border zealots, Mr. Dual Citizenship Juan Hernandez. McCain claims that Juan supports McCain’s, all of a sudden support, for secure borders but…I call bullshit to the idea that Juan supports McCain’s call for a secure border. My gosh the man has dual citizenship and Juan’s main shtick since coming to the USA from Vincenti Fox’s (Former Mexican President’s) staff is eliminating borders.

Anyways bullshit to McCain’s sudden transformation. Which leads me to this interesting idea. Did Mike Huckabee steal away some wins from Romney based on his also recent conversion to stopping illegal immigration?

Both Romney and Huckabee differentiated themselves from McCain on immigration. McCain is religious about the rights of the illegal immigration and the folks out west do not agree with him. In his very own state of Arizona he ran neck and neck with stricter immigration plans of Romney, Huckabee and Paul. Also check out Georgia and most of all California.
