The establishment Republicans have gone astray. I never knew that Senator Dole took part in saving Lincoln Chafee’s seat in the Senate. Certainly had no idea that she spent money I donated to Republican National Committee to save that knucklehead. Well now those chickens have come home to roost. Lets get some new Republicans who act upon the principles that those of us who pay the bills believe in.

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you for dedicating nearly $2 million of the NRSCs resources to Linc Chafees reelection campaign in 20006 when you were the NRSCs chairwoman. I confess: For a long time, I questioned the wisdom of that moveafter all Chafee didnt even vote for President Bush in 2004but now that the former Senator Chafee has left the Republican Party and announced his endorsement of Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama today, I finally see the wisdom of that strategy. We need more of this kind of action and less of Senator Dole’s sort of action.
