Despite Opposition from Slave Owners, Slave Traders and Southern Politicians, Illegal Immigration Crack Down Bill Passes by Overwhelming Margin

Why the sly allusions to slaves when referring to illegal immigration? Because that is exactly what we are talking about when we talk about illegal immigration. Ignoring idiocy from illegal immigration advocates illegal’s are popular not because they are doing jobs Americans “won’t” do but because they will do jobs Americans won’t do for the same amount of money.

Despite pressure from big business, Hispanic leaders and passionate lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, the Indiana House passed a bill Thursday night to crack down on illegal immigration.

Big Business isn’t wailing about the lost dignity of the illegal immigrants, but the lost market share some of them will suffer when they stop utilizing illegal’s to undercut the prices other law abiding companies in the same business. See if two businesses are in the same industry and one is paying minimum wages for workers with all the mandated types of insurance and safety regulations mandated their prices will be higher than the companies like Tyson foods that use illegal’s. Illegal’s don’t demand minimum wages, minimum workplace safety, minimum workers comp, and minimum protection from big business.

The 66-33 vote came after two hours of heated debate on the House floor. The Senate approved a similar bill by a 37-11 vote in January.

The legislation — which can revoke an employer’s business license for repeatedly hiring illegal immigrants — is likely headed to a House-Senate conference committee, where differences between the bills would be worked out.

Earlier Thursday, Gov. Mitch Daniels declined to commit his support until he saw the final bill.

“It depends entirely on what that bill says and whether it’s well put together and fairly balanced,” Daniels said. “I think I just really want to wait and see what conclusions they reach before I come to any of my own.” Illegal worker bill OK’d

So then we can assume that these State lawmakers are not making this stuff up as they go. They are actually responding to the concerns of those who vote for them. Looks like that illegal immigration situation is still a bigger deal than anyone might guess.
