They prefer to assign blame and promise benefits. So elections come and go, there are winners and losers — and our problems fester. There is a group of folks who are supposed to prevent this sort of collusion. Rush calls them the Drive By Media for a reason though. Reporters covering both candidates should be hammering them on this crucial issue. Smoke them out and make them take stands. Instead we have a bunch of folks who by and large seem to be rooting for whomever they might be covering and because of this they almost have a stake in “their” candidate winning.
Sickening as it may be, it is an indication of just how shallow we have become as a people. We are getting both the press and the politicians we deserve…
