Obama Begins Counterattack By Shooting Himself in the Foot…err oops Obama Loses Cool Attacks Former POW for Not Being Able to Reach Keyboard Due to Injuries Suffered When Tortured…hmm Sounds Like a Bad Idea.

Hey besides all the valid reasons to forget Obama, like his associations with unrepentant terrorists and black liberation crazy preachers, the plain fact that he cannot keep his cool speaks to his not being ready for anything more than being elected to dog catcher.

The attack was direct, accusing McCain of being out of touch after 26 years in Washington. Using jaunty, humorous music, a picture of a younger McCain with shaggy hair and the hint of sideburns, and images of massive, antiquated cellphones and a Rubik’s Cube, the ad is the clearest evocation yet of McCain’s age. The Republican turned 72 late last month.

That strategy should work wonders with Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio since there are NO old folks there.

“He admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer, can’t send e-mail. Still doesn’t understand the economy, and favors $200 billion in new tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class. . . . After one president who was out of touch,” it concludes, “we just can’t afford more of the same.” The Obama campaign said the ad would be aired nationally on cable and on other outlets in swing states. Obama Campaign Begins Counterattack – washingtonpost.com

Kinda tough to send email if your arms and fingers were broken so badly that you cannot reach the keyboard. From the Boston Globe…

The outrage comes from inside: McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain’s encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He’s an avid fan – Ted Williams is his hero – but he can’t raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

And if you are going to attack someone for being too old and broken to know how to use the Internet it might help to at least be goddamn RIGHT about his NOT using the Internet. From a Forbes article in 2000, when Obama was busy admitting in his loss to a former Black Panther that there wasn’t much difference between them, in this article we find out that McCain was using the Internet in innovative ways.

McCain himself was convinced early on that the Internet had to play a critical role in the campaign. Time and again it allowed him to leverage his money and his organization. “In the Virginia primary,” McCain told me, “we needed a lot of petitions signed to get on the ballot. We had the form available to download off the Internet and got 17,000 signatures with very little trouble.”

farther down:

The campaign’s innovative use of the Internet could turn out to be the most important single factor of this year’s election. And woe unto the future candidate who doesn’t study the McCain 2000 Internet campaign strategy carefully. “The Web was only an electronic billboard in the last two elections,” Max Fose says, “but this is the first time anyone ran a truly interactive campaign.” It certainly will not be the last.

If Obama is this incompetent running a campaign then exactly how is it that his combination of far left beliefs and sheer incompetence will be anything but a huge disaster for the country? Hat tip HOTAIR.
