Michael Barone Sounds The Alarm About the Coming Thugocracy of Obama…"First They Came for the Communists" MSM and Some Conservative Elite Tone Deaf to Their Mortal Danger.

Raila Odinga, Bill Ayers and wife Bernadine Dohrn, Reverend Wright, Father Phleger, ACORN, Joyce Foundation…

The list goes on and it is a list from which Barack Hussein Obama has, when it was politically expedient, not only run from but thrown under the bus. All the while the Mainstream Media in it’s love affair with Barack Hussein Obama has turned a blind eye to events they realize would sink their chosen One’s candidacy if they merely highlighted one of those scandalous relationships with the degree of coverage dedicated to Sarah Palin’s children. So you have the spectacle of the Press being studiously ignorant of some tremendously troubling realtionships and a candidate who at least has some semblance of understanding how dangerous those are to his candidacy for the highest office in the United States.

But even with the blind eye that the Mainstream Media has cast towards Barack’s troubling cast of marxists, revolutionaries, black liberation theologists, and other dangerous characters it was not enough of a blanket of silence. No, Barack wants more. Barack has threatened, cajoled, intimidated and sued to keep voices silent who might raise the alarm.

Michael Barone is not one to be silenced and he understands the threat which presents itself with the possible victory of what used to be described laughingly as a “Manchurian” candadicy…not too many folks are still laughing. Michael Barone doesn’t think it is funny either.

Obama supporters who found the campuses congenial and Obama himself, who has chosen to live all his adult life in university communities, seem to find it entirely natural to suppress speech that they don’t like and seem utterly oblivious to claims that this violates the letter and spirit of the First Amendment. In this campaign, we have seen the coming of the Obama thugocracy, suppressing free speech, and we may see its flourishing in the four or eight years ahead. Why George Will, Kathleen Parker, David Frum, David Brooks and other supposedly conservative voices do not see it is puzzling. Is their hatred of McCain or Palin or both blinding them to what may actually be a mortal danger to this country? Is the destruction of the First Amendment an insignificant event? Is the fact that we may elect a President who looks at the 1st amendment as a hinderance not to be feared? What other joys does he have in store for us? If he is so bold as to launch a frontal attack on the 1st Amendment exactly why do we think he will think much of the others? Of our rights?

Note to John McCain…Michael Barone sounds a bit concerned…why aren’t you?

Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists,
- but I was neither, so I did not speak out.
Then they came for the Jews,
- but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out.
And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.
