Obama The Liar! Conservatives Need To Awaken and Start Fighting Him!

To show how badly the RNC is reeling I offer up this anecdote. Last week I received a call from the RNC asking for me to renew my pledge to the committee. When I started to tell them that I was waiting for the Republicans to start fighting the RNC volunteer abruptly hung up. Exactly why anyone would do that during a call asking for money is beyond me. Especially considering how much money I have given to them in the past.

Others see the same lack of fight. Here is a great article by Tony Blankley calling out the Conservatives and Republicans…they are not always one and the same.

It starts off with a bang and goes out with a bigger bang…we apparently need to make a lot of noise so that folks like Orrin Hatch and John McCain will hear us!

President Obama is a beguiling but confounding figure. As he has said of himself: "I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” (”The Audacity of Hope.”) It is indeed audacious that he should proclaim this consciously disingenuous attribute. And, as one reads his inaugural address, it is hard not to conclude that it was shrewdly crafted to perpetuate such confusion.

Run-of-the-mill politicians try to hide their duplicity. Only the most gifted of that profession brag that they intend to confound and confuse the public. Such an effort is beyond ingenious – it is brazenly ingenuous.

Read the whole thing and notice this blockbuster ending.

But one is entitled to be suspicious of a politician who openly brags that I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.”That strikes me as a conscious intent to deceive in order to diffuse opposition to his designs until it is too late to block them. Ronald Reagan never hid his policy intentions from public view. Neither, in fairness, did Lyndon Johnson or Walter Mondale or Barney Frank or Nancy Pelosi.

A politician who will not sail under his own flag, in effect sails against all flags. Such a strategy may, in time, undercut his support from increasingly suspicious progressives, liberals, moderates and conservatives – once they recognize the deception.

Now let us rid ourselves of doubt and start fighting this liar before his power makes it impossible to defeat him. Notice that in the latest "Stimulus" ACORN receives a bunch of our money to further corrupt our political institutions.

I was also struck by this terrific comment to the article. Thomas Jefferson was no RHINO.

By: Dick Knickson

Some wisdom from Thomas Jefferson, that we need to heed today:

Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state.

The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive.

An honest man can feel no pleasure in the exercise of power over his fellow citizens.

A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.

Every generation needs a new revolution.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.

I own that I am not a friend to a very energetic government. It is always oppressive.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

It is our duty still to endeavor to avoid war; but if it shall actually take place, no matter by whom brought on, we must defend ourselves. If our house be on fire, without inquiring whether it was fired from within or without, we must try to extinguish it

No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.

Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence.

Power is not alluring to pure minds.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Whenever a man has cast a longing eye on offices, a rottenness begins in his conduct.
