Blackfive as TV critic, gives us the scoop on Best Ranger Competition.

Not much TV is watched in the Legrand household aside from stuff like Teletubbies and the like. Yea its what happens when you have 3 kids ages 2-8. But one of the shows that the entire family enjoyed watching was a special on Seal Training. The girls were impressed by the folks that defend us all. My wife asked if there was anyway she could expect me to look like them anytime soon…

Looks like this Army Ranger competition is gonna be as good.

  1. That’s amazing. See, that would never happen here in craptacular blue state California… unless it was with backhanded derision. There are hippie parents out here who would do that too

  2. Thanks for the comments. Part of the Legrand family tradition that I started since 9/11 is whenever we see someone in Uniform we all will go up and thank them for their service. I remember one time in the Winn Dixie when we walked up to a Marine Officer there with his son. The reaction from his looked to be 6 year old son was worth the embarrasment of going up to strangers to thank them. When I thanked his father and told his son how brave his father was the look from the son was one I wont forget.

  3. That’s a really good feeling to know that there are people out there who still raise their kids correctly in this day and age. Your little girls were “impressed by the folks that defend us all?” Man, that’s so rad!

People forget it, but this is part of the American Dream as well, a good strong family!

I’m gonna stop here before I get too off track…

    Keep ‘em coming, Pierre,
