Osama/Obama is promising universal health care of sorts, weeee, I sure hope its as good as this English care. I mean they don’t fool around eh? Two weeks and the wonderful health care of Merry Old England, loved by every rich Democrat, was going to pull the plug and kill this poor woman. Luckily for her, the husband was a better Doctor than the Government Bureaucrats who decided Merry Ole England had spent enough money on his anonymous wife. After all I suspect that had this been the Queen that they might not have been so eager to pull the plug. Ya think?
A desperate husband who learned a hospital was about to take his comatose wife off life support managed to awaken her doing the one thing he knew she hated being “told off,” it is reported by the Daily Mail.
Yvonne Sullivan, 28, of the English seaside resort town of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset suffered severe blood poisoning during childbirth July 5. The baby, named Clinton, died after the 14-hour labor and Sullivan fell into a coma moments later, according to the report.
Dom Sullivan, 37, stayed by his wife’s bedside for two weeks while she was in intensive care.

But when the hospital told him they planned to pull the plug on his wife, he snapped and gave his wife “a firm telling-off,” the report said.
Dom Sullivan told the Daily Mail his wife never liked getting a good chewing out. But the move appeared to work and Yvonne Sullivan started breathing on her own two hours later. Within five days, the hospital was able to shut the ventilator off as Yvonne Sullivan regained consciousness, according to the report. In Merry Ole England I suspect that your political class allows you better care than that of the Hoi polloi. Call me skeptical that they treat everyone equally. Course many of you might say well in the mean old US we don’t get treated equally either. And you might have a point except given a choice between trying to change my class from say a commoner to a Royal, impossible in Merry Ole England, and making more money, sure fire way of getting great care in the US, I will take making more money.
I suspect that here in the States barriers would spring up quickly to limit the load on the Hospitals and given that those limitation would have to be non monetary it would likely be very exclusive to the right sort of people. The definition of right sort of people could change fairly quickly depending on the politician depending on the situation.
Oh please give me something like that….how wonderful could it be to watch my family die because I didn’t rate care. A Brave New World with Mr. Yes We Can.
