Black Law Student Association Launches a Witch Hunt Against One Professor That Reflects Badly Upon Everyone in Universities! Luckily Professor Fights Back and Wins!

Inside Higher Education has a great article regarding a Professor who sued his students and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock after being falsely accused of racism. Sounds just like the sort of crazy nonsense that is wrong with Universities these days. Also sounds like the sort of battles that Republicans better get ready to fight considering Obama’s methods, and his allies quick use of racism charges to silence dissent.

Another accusation against him was that — in the same time frame when he had criticized affirmative action — he was insensitive in passing out “a basic grammar worksheet” to the class and telling students to focus more on their writing. There was no accusation that he focused on the black students, only that he raised this issue shortly after he has been critical of affirmative action. On this charge, Peltz noted that faculty members had been urged by the state Bar to focus more on writing issues because some law students were in danger of failing the Bar exam due to poor writing skills. While defending his intent, Peltz pledged in his new memo to never again offer the writing tips “lest I again be maligned for trying to improve student writing.” What You Can’t Win in Court :: Inside Higher Ed :: Higher Education’s Source for News, Views and Jobs

Read the comments and be shocked to learn just how grades are awarded in the new age.

Affirmative action is racism.

Amazing he that wasn’t fired or perhaps he is tenured. Reverse racism, or affirmative action simply is racism and creates hatred, not fairness. I was fired by the Chairman because I refused to pass a black student who did not attend class or do any work; the Chair wanted him passed for racial quota purposes, so the Chair changed my grade of F to passing, thereby discriminating against all the other students. I didn’t care what race, ethnicity, age, sex, or attitude a student had, only that they were able to learn the material no matter what I had to do to help them to pass standard tests pursuant to obtaining a professional license. What the Chair did was wrong, to the students and to the profession.

As for your own perception, what race do you think I am? Do you assume that I am white?

You’re likely wrong; I am Native American.

Dan, Dr. at Ball State University,

Well I am feeling all warm and fuzzy knowing that grades are just handed out to meet quotas. What we are seeing here is the destruction of nearly 2500 years of experience regarding basic ideas, truth matters, honor matters, actually knowing the material matters. You know having idiot lawyers may not be such a dangerous thing, hell it might be a plus since having idiots abounding in law might move the worship of them down a notch or two, but imagine that same grading method being used with a heart surgeon. Gosh, do you feel a thrill going up your leg! Speaking of thrills running up my leg…

Now we have a Black President who uses the same sort of tactics, hurling racism charges at those who stand in his way, well my gosh it just doesn’t get any better than that eh? Exactly how would the University view a group of students calling themselves the White Law Students Association? Would the University allow them to ruin careers of women studies professors? Dissent in the United States just moved into the hate speech category. If it is wrong to have a White Law Students Law Association why is it right to have a black one? Would Reverend King think all this color running around as victims a good thing?

The question is can any Republican overcome their fear of being branded a racist to fight back? Perhaps we can take a cue from the Queen of Denmark.

The Queen of Denmark said it best “A counterbalance has to be found, and one has to, at times, run the risk of having unflattering labels placed on you. For there are some things for which one should display no tolerance. And when we are tolerant, we must know whether it is because of convenience or conviction.”

She was defending her right to stand up to Islam’s attempt to overwhelm Europe. We might take a cue from her as those would debase our civilization by eliminating standards try to destroy our nation in order to steal success. Hint success is not given, nor taken, it is earned. Discuss amongst yourselves.

Oil? Nope no oil in ANWAR, none in the Gulf of Mexico, nope none off the coast of California…Politicians and Bureaucrats to the People GO SUCK AN EGG!

Pierre Legrand’s Pink Flamingo Bar

While countries from around the world drill just 75 miles off all of our shores we are too self righteous to do so ourselves. There is an answer and Anchoress is on to it. Vote the bastards out.

Holding your own countrymen hostage to foreign oil while also refusing to allow nuclear energy…it’s not leadership. It is the opposite of leadership. And it’s un-American, too.

Signing petitions is all well and good, but I begin to think that the only way congress will ever take action is if they get hurt.

And the only way to hurt a congress is to vote them all out. 100 gallons of oil rocks the vote! | The Anchoress

Here are some links that just make me tingly all over. Some in Congress get it…witness U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick a REPUBLICAN btw. She has re-introduced a bill that would open up drilling offshore. It is such a sensible idea that even the dumbass Chinese are doing it. But the same exact bill by U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick was defeated in 2006.

The moratoriums prohibit energy development on the OCS in waters from three miles off our coastlines, where State-owned waters end and federal waters begin, to waters beyond 200 miles off the coasts

· A 2006 Department of Interior study of the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) estimated reserves of 8.5 billion barrels of oil and 29.3 trillion cubic feet of natural gas

· Another 86 billion barrels of oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas are classified as undiscovered resources

The United States is the only developed nation in the world that forbids energy production on its OCS—Cuba is allowing other countries, like China, to drill for oil close to 50 miles off the coast of Florida, while America sits with its hands tied

Well isn’t that peachy….it is not as if the politicians don’t know where this will all end.

And it is not as if we the people don’t want to drill…polls show we do.

Something is broken…

Why I Home School Reason #3,456,000 Zero-tolerance stupidity: 6-year-old labeled a “sexual harasser”

A 6 year old slaps a girl’s behind, naturally the rational action for the school to take is to call the police. Okey Dokey.  I support this nonsense with tax dollars. Our children are falling farther behind other children around the world in mathmatics, while we spend more per child than nearly everyone in the world. Fine, thank you sir, may I have another!

Calling the police for a disciplinary issue amounts to a complete capitulation of the administration’s authority over the children and a highly distorted sense of priorities. Nor is Potomac View alone in this issue. In Maryland alone, 166 elementary-school students got suspended for sexual harassment last year. Those figures include 22 first-graders, 16 kindergartners, and three pre-schoolers. In Virginia, ABC News reports, 255 elementary-school children got suspended last year for the same reasons. Lest you think I jest about the falling farther behind claim. Click to see full size version. Get some hanky’s to wipe your tears away. We are below every single developed nation except Italy and Portugal. Weeeee….but we are arresting 6-year olds for supposed sexual harassment.

Color me confused…

Exactly what is meant by the bolded sentence?

The researchers say that, by focusing so heavily on high scorers, the elite colleges they examined are ignoring promising minority students with lesser scores, increasing the competition for high-scoring minority students, and potentially ?simply ?pricing? themselves out of the ?market? for a more diverse learning environment.? Especially among the most prestigious of the 30 institutions, it is hard to believe that putting less emphasis on high SAT scores would cause the institutions? quality to suffer. Elite Colleges’ Scramble to Enroll High SAT Scorers May Undermine Diversity – Chronicle.com

Do they mean that colleges should LOWER standards to meet minority students halfway? Boy talk about a sense of accomplishment for those minority students that get into Yale under the suggested guidelines. How insulting.

Hmm…Spanking Children May Lead to Risky Sexual Behavior as Adults, Bug or Feature?

Ok, that is an absurd headline but oh my gosh no more absurd than this nonsense being sold by nannies wishing to control our lives.

Children who are spanked or given some form of physicial punishment by their parents may be more to have sexual problems as adults, a new study finds.

An analysis of four studies by Murray Straus, co-director of the Family Research Laboratory at the University of New Hampshire-Durham, found that children who suffer physical punishment in the form of spanking, hitting or slapping are more likely to engage in risky sexual behavior as adults, it is reported by USA Today. Wicked cool brain control headset for gamers

I want one…

Gamers will soon be able to interact with the virtual world using their thoughts and emotions alone.

A neuro-headset which interprets the interaction of neurons in the brain will go on sale later this year.

“It picks up electrical activity from the brain and sends wireless signals to a computer,” said Tan Le, president of US/Australian firm Emotiv.

“It allows the user to manipulate a game or virtual environment naturally and intuitively,” she added. BBC NEWS | Technology | Brain control headset for gamers

Compared to Hillary Clinton’s doublespeak John Kerry was a straight shooter…how scary is that and how scary is Hillary?

Doubleplus scary…watch the witch in action.

So you Evangelicals and Conservatives go ahead and keep your money in your pocket and your vote at home. Lets elect Hillary!

Hillary is the most dangerous candidate we have ever had run for President. Nothing at all should stop a full fledged effort to crush her once and for all. Hat tip of all places…Daily Kos.

Mark Twain sent to re-education camp! The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn pulled from shelves for editing!

At the same time that Universities around the country subject white students to humiliation and degradation because of the color of their skin or the beliefs in their heads, the cancer of leftist censorship spreads to high schools.

Who will be our leader? None of the established candidates seem to understand the war that drove us underground.

This essay by Mark Steyn seems to be directed right to my family. No doubt that I have been fighting all along. But now my wife is awakening. She is alarmed by the rush to madness that seems to be driving our society.

Well, it takes two to have a cold civil war. The right must be doing some of this stuff, too, surely? Up to a point. But for the most part they either go along, or secede from the system — they home-school, turn to talk radio and the Internet, read Christian publishers’ books that shift millions of copies without ever showing up on a New York Times bestsellers list. The established institutions of the state remain under the monolithic control of forces that ceaselessly applaud themselves for being terrifically iconoclastic: The ‘cold civil war’ in the U.S. | Macleans.ca – Culture – Media

Earlier he stated:

The grade schools no longer teach American history as any kind of coherent narrative. “Paint me warts and all,” Oliver Cromwell instructed his portraitist. But in public education, American children paint only the warts — slavery, the ill-treatment of Native Americans, the pollution of the environment, more slavery …  There are attempts to put a positive spin on things — the Iroquois stewardship of the environment, Rosa Parks’ courage on the bus — but, cumulatively, heroism comes to be defined as opposition to that towering Mount Wartmore of dead white males.

My children understand the heroism it took to create this country and they understand why it is so different from other nations. They are skeptical of the Government, a proper attitude no matter what some “compassionate so-called conservatives” believe, while respecting those who stand between us and the worst the world has to offer.

Our children understand the war, both the internal war which is defined by the lunacy of 9/11 Truthers and the external war that is driven by Islam. Naturally given their ages 10, 6 and 4 they don’t all have the same level of understanding but they all understand that there are soldiers away from their families fighting the bad guys, making us safe.

Homeschooling while terribly difficult is the least we can do to prepare our children for the madness they will face because of the divide between the left and right. I consider it my way of making up for my failure to win or at least not lose the fight against the left.

The right, perhaps not understanding that the left meant to dismantle the system, not to slightly modify it, played by a set of rules that allowed the left to rack up win after win. The right compromised with the left, perhaps imagining that the left would return the favor. Instead what happened was the noose got ever tighter and there was never any attempt to loosen it. The left did not forsake one single goal while the right compromised on everything. My fear is that we have gone past a point of return and that all that remains is for the left and right to have a civil war. Which I believe will move from the current Cold Civil War to Hot Civil War more quickly than anyone imagines.

Perhaps there is still time to prevent a descent into a hot civil war. But we need a leader on the right who is willing to fight for principals and none have appeared. Without such a leader we will find ourselves comprising the nation into a corner from which only a fight will extract us.

The difference between the left and the right all this time has come down to this: The left are the children breaking the system because they have hated the control and the right have been trying to not allow them to break it all at once. We need to stop believing they intend anything other than breaking the system. If the right existed in a socialist system we would be the children breaking the system…and the left would be the ones attempting to preserve it.

Az School Suspends 13-Year-Old Boy for Drawing Gun…drawings don’t kill, only artists kill…or some such.

Hmmm….now school officials are threatened by drawings. Reason number 2,300 to homeschool. I honestly do not know how I would react to this sort of idiocy were it directed towards my children, but I am betting I would not remain calm. My son at this time has 1 toy Winchester, 3 or 4 toy colts, the cool chrome colored ones, that only Walmart sells because Toys R Pansies doesn’t sell toy guns, and he cannot wait to hit 10 to go shoot my Garand
