John McCain 2008 - John McCain for President

Pierre Legrand’s Pink Flamingo Bar

This hurts me more than you can know…but the Angry Black Marxist Obama scares me. If Obama gets into office the he will make the Clinton’s look like Republicans. McCain is a bastard no doubt…no I won’t forgive him for his collaboration with Kennedy on Amnesty. But he is much less of a bastard than Obama.

Well anyway. I just gave to the Campaign and I hope you do to since McCain will need every penny he can get to blast through the media hype for Obama. Make no mistake every single media outlet will be working for the Obamamessiah Election committee.

John McCain 2008 - John McCain for President

While the Base is Fighting an Existential Battle to Protect Civilization from Murderous Islamic Maniacs and the Moonbat Left, the Republican Party is handing out stuffed animals to Raise Money…okey dokey.

Pierre Legrand’s Pink Flamingo Bar

At the bottom of this post is a copy of a dumb ass email sent to me by the Republican Party. They miss me. I have given them hundreds of dollars…err perhaps a lot more in the last 31 years. I have worked the phones, knocked on doors, and written extensively on why they are better. I do none of that anymore…now those puddin heads want to send me stuffed animals named Sam to entice me to restart my giving…astounding. Why not send me some hope that they are different than the Democrats?

What happened? When did we lose focus?  When did we go from being the Party of Ideas and philosophy to the party of appeasement and stuffed animals? You laugh and think he is nuts for saying the Republicans are the party of Appeasement? Tell me exactly what the hell is McCain calling for when he makes the claim that he will cross the aisle and work with the other side? The other side is Obama and tell me exactly when he has bragged about crossing the aisle to work with us? Why do we apologize for our ideas? Why don’t the Democrats apologize for theirs? Their ideas lead to corruption and disaster and yet we act as if they have ideas worth meeting halfway. Why? When do they meet us halfway and furthermore exactly why is it valuable to meet certain ideas halfway. Should we meet those who would nationalize our oil industries half way? What is the compromise point in that discussion? Should we give away half of our guns? Give away half of our children’s education to their corruptions? Goddamn I hate McCain…but I hate Obama worse.

Which ideas lead to corruption and disaster? Let me count the ways.

  1. Democrat Ted Kennedy authored the 1965 Immigration that has led to whole sale changes of our society. He explicitly promised that his changes would not bring exactly what they have brought.
    • 1965: “The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.” (uh dial one for english…2 for whatever)
  2. In the fall of 1974, Nixon resigned under the pressure of the Watergate scandal and was succeeded by Gerald Ford. Congress cut funding to South Vietnam for the upcoming fiscal year from a proposed 1.26 billion to 700 million dollars (which led directly to the Boat People and Cambodia, congrats to the Democrats)
  3.  The War on Poverty…which has given us, drumroll please, more poverty.

I have to stop this is pissing me off…exactly HOW CAN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BE SO CORRUPT AND LACKING OF IDEAS THAT WE ALLOW FOLKS WHO CAME UP WITH THIS CRAP TO WIN?

Thank you Democrats…and Thank you Republicans for being so unable to answer the idiocy of the Democrats that you are reduced to giving away GODDAMN STUFFED ANIMALS. If there is a God in heaven please let him send us someone who will rid us of the idiots currently in charge of the Republican party machine.

Rezko Guilty on 16 Counts of Influence peddling…Big Obama Supporter. Nothing to see here, move along.

So then Osama/Obama says that he is sorry that he did that deal with Rezko…hmm one thing for sure Osama/Obama sure has a propensity to throw long time supporters under the bus. Which to me means that he must have a quid pro quo with them. They take the fall gracefully, for the most part we all know that Wright doesn’t know the meaning of gracefully, and he bails them out of whatever trouble they are in once he becomes President. Sounds like a very dangerous man.

Rezko Guilty on 16 Counts Accused Political Fixer Has Ties to Barack Obama

Tony Rezko

A federal jury in Chicago Wednesday found Antoin “Tony” Rezko guilty on 16 of 24 counts.

The jury’s deliberations on the fate of the 52-year-old Chicago developer and political fixer stretched over 13 days, as they weighed the evidence and testimony on whether and how Rezko had illegally trafficked in access to politicians and political favors.

Rezko’s ties to Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill. have created image problems for the White House hopeful. Rezko, a longtime friend and supporter of Obama’s, raised tens of thousands of dollars for his campaigns, much of which Obama has since returned. ABC News: Rezko Guilty on 16 Counts

NRO Corner in the Tank for Obama…well how else do you explain the fawning nonsense going on over Obama? A Black Marxist who attended a racist church led by racist preachers?

The NRO Corner lost it’s way a long time ago. When the Corner united against Coulter’s remarks after 9/11 one had to worry that in the Corner we didn’t have actual conservatives but folks who make money playing one.

But I don’t understand the pile on at The Corner.

McCain gave a serious talk that centered on the war, and especially on the point that if Obama had been in charge, we’d have lost by now and incredible chaos and perhaps genocide would be unfolding in that country. McCain also noted what he should refer to in every speech from now until November: Obama wants to sit down with dictators who would eat his lunch.Townhall.com::Blog

If you are a liar you tend to view others as liars…same same with thief. If you are a thief you tend to view others as thieves!

Tigerhawk explains the correct way to look at energy and our use of it. I only want to add that if you are a liar you tend to view everyone else as liars. If you are a thief you tend to view others as thieves. Since the left makes it’s living as thieves of the labor of others it colors their entire world view. We will never convince them that there might be other explanations for wealth. They simply cannot conceive that wealth is created by working for it, it is so much easier to steal it. You can spot them in schools because they are the ones cheating.

But most peoples of the world (including American leftists) do not understand this — which is why they do not invent anything important — and instead view American wealth as if it were looted, rather than created. Hey, if I thought America was rich from theft rather than creativity, I’d feel guilty too.  TigerHawk

If you look hard enough you will find that theory of life embedded in the sub-prime mortgage crisis…Get your money for nothin’ get your chicks for free!

Because Republicans are just incredibly stupid…how else to explain 29 Republican Sponsors to this abortion!

Obviously if as a United States Congressmen you are NOT willing to stop illegal immigration you should make damn sure that no pesky state or local officials go around you and take care of the problem themselves. More obviously if you are a hopelessly stupid political party getting its ass handed to it in every single goddamn election held you should GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO PISS ON YOUR BASE. Naturally. So that explains these 29 clowns wearing the Republican badge sponsoring legislation to take away States rights to police up a problem they refuse to face. After all when you aren’t collecting much money from your base because you have foot tapped your way into hell then corporations like Tyson Foods and Mohawk Fabrics who employ thousands of illegal’s are your only hope. So you better please them by trying to pass this shitty legislation. Take a good look at the wording of this…

(b) Enhancement of Federal Preemption Standards- Section 274A(h)(2) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1324a(h)(2)) is amended to read as follows:

`(2) PREEMPTION; NO NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARD-

`(A) PREEMPTION- The provisions of this section preempt any provision of any law of any State or political subdivision thereof or any contract entered into by any State or political subdivision thereof which–

        `(i) imposes civil or criminal sanctions upon employers for actions governed by the Act;

        `(ii) requires, authorizes or permits a system of verification of the immigration status of employees or employment applicants;

`(iii) requires, authorizes, or permits the use of a federally mandated employment verification system for any other purpose other than that required by Federal law, including verifying status of renters, determining eligibility for receipt of benefits, enrollment in school, obtaining or retaining a business or other license provided by the unit of government, or conducting a background check; or

`(iv) requires or prohibits the use of an immigration status employment verification system for any purpose, except as required by Federal law, including without limitation, such purposes as–

          `(I) a condition of receiving a government contract;

`(II) a condition of receiving a business license; or

`(III) the basis of assessing a penalty.

Here are the sponsors of the above nonsense…and this is only part of the nonsense. This is a blatant attempt to nullify the great work being done locally to deal with the huge influx of illegal aliens. The efforts of states like Arizona and Oklahoma will be killed by this legislation! Now is as good a time as any to remind these clowns that while Tyson and Mohawk and the others that are donating money to them won’t be able to replace all the votes they are losing. Call these clowns up now and ask them just exactly why do they crave losing?

Rep. Samuel Johnson [R-TX]hide cosponsors Rep. Marsha Blackburn [R-TN] Rep. Jo Bonner [R-AL]  Rep. Kevin Brady [R-TX]  Rep. David Camp [R-MI] Rep. Eric Cantor [R-VA] Rep. Barbara Cubin [R-WY] Rep. So while folks all over the country scratch their heads and wonder why the Republicans are losing, these Republicans are giving a graphic example. Poll after poll show that rank and file Republicans want our borders controlled and want the illegal alien problem taken care of. Naturally to these Republican politicians that means killing local laws to suit their multicultural fantasies. Gosh I wonder why they are losing?

Oh and by the way some wags have been advocating that Republicans are losing because they are NOT advocating Amnesty and other bullshit. To that crazy shit let me just say that even Hillary ran as fast as she could from Spitzers loony idea to give Illegal’s drivers licenses. Even liberals like New Yorkers didn’t think that was a great idea. Some of them have claimed that the election in Mississippi proved that being tough on illegal’s was a losing strategy. Not sure how they can claim this with a straight face given that the positions of the candidates were so similar that even the RHINO wag making this absurd claim had to admit it.

I can tell you that at this point I don’t even look at Republican efforts at fundraising. I just toss them into the garbage…I hope they are getting enough money from those border jumpers to make up the difference!

The Republican Party’s Real Problem In A Nutshell…ding ding ding…give Hawkins a read, he gets it!

Great article on why I have not sent any money to the Republicans this cycle. I don’t trust them. Course John Hawkins article over at Townhall is a bit broader in focus than little ole me but hey, enough about me, what do you thing about me!

However, there is one overriding problem that dwarfs all the others, a problem that few people in the leadership of the Republican Party seem to have come to grips with. That problem is that conservatives, who are the heart and soul of the Republican Party, no longer believe that the GOP has their best interests at heart. Go now and read this article McCain. I know you are reading my site.

Bush bashing…Peggy Noonan and me pile on. Bother you? Make something of it!

There were two critical spots in this overall terrific piece that Peggy Noonan struck a nerve.

And, as always: Why do we do this when you know I am not a terrorist, and you know I know you know I am not a terrorist? Why this costly and harassing kabuki when we both know the facts, and would agree that all this harassment is the government’s way of showing “fairness,” of showing that it will equally humiliate anyone in order to show its high-mindedness and sense of justice? Our politicians congratulate themselves on this as we stand in line.

When I stood there helplessly as TSA pukes patted down my 74 year old Mom and Step Dad I knew that it was indeed, as Noonan puts it, mere Kabuki theater. This nonsense being foisted upon us by idiot politicians was useless. We would never catch anyone like this….

But then she reaches full song and hits right to my heart. I do not like this man we call President, this man to whom I have given more money than was prudent. In 2000 because I thought him the better man. In 2004 I gave because the other man was so much worse. Now comes 2008 and again there are no choices.

He has left on-the-ground conservatives – the local right-winger, the town intellectual reading Burke and Kirk, the old Reagan committeewoman – feeling undefended, unrepresented and alone.

This will have impact down the road.

I finally understand the party nostalgia for Reagan. Everyone speaks of him now, but it wasn’t that way in 2000, or 1992, or 1996, or even ‘04.

I think it is a manifestation of dislike for and disappointment in Mr. Bush. It is a turning away that is a turning back. It is a looking back to conservatism when conservatism was clear, knew what it was, was grounded in the facts of the world.

The reasons for the quiet break with Mr. Bush: spending, they say first, growth in the power and size of government, Iraq. I imagine some of this: a fine and bitter conservative sense that he has never had to stand in his stockinged feet at the airport holding the bin, being harassed. He has never had to live in the world he helped make, the one where grandma’s hip replacement is setting off the beeper here and the child is crying there. And of course as a former president, with the entourage and the private jets, he never will. I bet conservatives don’t like it. I’m certain Gate 14 doesn’t.Declarations - WSJ.com

YES YES YES….and more. The man I gave so much of my loyalty and money to tried to betray me with the immigration fiasco’s. He did the unthinkable, he lied. I know it is a cliché to claim that politicians lie but they are not supposed to be proud of it. President Bush lied to my face repeatedly…I do not like liars. Never have, never will.

Then the President came to Baton Rouge the other day and it struck me that we have created monsters of our Presidents. This man, yes he is a man, absolutely locked up the City of Baton Rouge for hours. He did this because one of the Republicans running for office needed Bush to raise money for him. So this man, the President, got into his big taxpayer funded 747 and flew from New Orleans, 73 miles away probably closer as the crow or President flies, to Baton Rouge. Royalty cannot be more royal. Our President is not supposed to be royalty. While our President flew his huge taxpayer funded jet the 73 miles other tax payer funded Military jets flew circles around his path, armed to the teeth, reminding one and all that this was a man of power…then insult was added to injury.

When the freeways were shut down whilst this man, just a man, rode from the airport in his huge convoy towards this very exclusive fundraiser. Then when this man, just a man, decided to leave the freeway was locked up again….royalty does not gain you these sorts of privileges.

When did we agree to this?

Bush tells Chinese "We made an oopsy so sorry we sent nuclear weapon parts to Taiwan"

So yesterday we claimed that we mistakenly delivered empty nuclear missile nose cones.

WASHINGTON, March 25, 2008 - The U.S. military has regained control of four non-nuclear nose cone assemblies for a Minuteman missile mistakenly sent to Taiwan in 2006, Air Force Secretary Michael W. Wynne said during a news conference here today.

Today we claimed that the empty nose cones were actually the nuclear missile fuses for intercontinental ballistic missiles. Weeee!

The U.S. military’s mistaken delivery to Taiwan of electrical fuses for an intercontinental ballistic missile has raised concerns over U.S.-China relations. It has also triggered a broad investigation into the security of Pentagon weapons. Bush Calls Fuse Delivery a Mistake

Will tomorrow bring the news that we were actually smuggling an entire missile into Taiwan a piece at a time. Will someone please stand up and take control of the weapons before the kids blow us all up?

In case you have forgotten the kids “lost” 5 nuclear weapons last year when they went joyriding around the country attached to the bottom of a B-52. Ooops. Guess the crew just figured those things attached to their wings were brand new hood ornaments for their bomber?

Hey I am all for protesting the Chinese Government for their general thuggishness but how about we ramp it up a bit faster than sending nuclear weapons into Taiwan a piece at a time? Oh hell how do you make fun of idiocy this monumental?

Oopsy…Navy "Regains Control" of 4 Non Nuclear Nose Cone Assemblies that went "astray" in 2006. Weeeeeee!

This sort of crap has been happening a lot lately. Remember the Nuclear Weapons that went on a “joyride” around the country affixed to a B-52? I covered that story in a longish article regarding the state of our nuclear weapons.

WASHINGTON, March 25, 2008 - The U.S. military has regained control of four non-nuclear nose cone assemblies for a Minuteman missile mistakenly sent to Taiwan in 2006, Air Force Secretary Michael W. Wynne said during a news conference here today.

Typical White Fact-Based Reasoning…well this just about covers one aspect of Obama’s hallucinations

What is simply pitiful about these facts is that until we address them as a society we will never correct the issue and blacks will continue living in the most dangerous sorts of conditions in this country. Blacks are 7 times more likely to die of murder. Let that settle in the next time you are feeling a little bit antsy in a situation. The violence in some of the neighborhoods is beyond our comprehension. But folks like Obama will never fix it, since they will spend their time worrying about the wrong problem. Like a doctor who allows you to die of a heart failure while he cures your ingrown toenail.

Anyway go check this terrific article on American Thinker!

Senator Barack Obama said in his memoir, The Audacity of Hope, “The arguments of liberals are more often grounded in reason and fact.”  Yet he also claimed that to fear a black person on the street more than a white person is a racial “stereotype”, “bred” into us.

To the contrary, such a fear is actually “grounded in reason and fact.”  When the numbers are crunched, a black person is almost six times more likely than a white person to be a murderer.Senator Barack Obama in his Race Speech said his white grandmother “once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street”.  In a follow-up interview he clarified that remark by saying,

American Thinker: Typical White Fact-Based Reasoning

Cross his heart hope to die, Obama promises he is not a liberal…okey dokey.

The left, bless their black little hearts, have never thought much of middle classes. That opinion underlies all of their philosophy. Indeed it is appealing, is it not, to consider that you are smarter than everyone you know, backseat drivers unite!…course the sane among us realize otherwise. The left, the mother of all backseat drivers.

Matter of fact the left has believed that you can indeed fool all of the people all of the time. Aren’t they cute? And who is cuter than the cutest of them all Barak Hussein Obama? Lookee here where Obama actually has the audacity to imagine that us rubes won’t know that “progressive” is just another word for really far left moonbat? In this interview he claims he is NOT a liberal…he is a progressive. Hmm…my mama didn’t raise no fool Hussein.

He said he was a progressive and a pragmatist, eager to tackle the big issues like health care and convinced that the Democrats could rally independents and disaffected Republicans to their agenda. Obama’s promise of a new majority, and the question it prompts - International Herald Tribune

But Obama is even funnier than that if you consider the attempted con job he has been trying to pull on the rest of the country. Consider his oh so heralded speech on race, which was actually an attempt to keep the Right Reverend Wright’s lunatics on board while giving willing fools a reason to believe that Obama really isn’t a white hating lunatic himself…no matter what he says about his Grandmother. He really thinks you are a dumbshit…ain’t that cute. Those leftists with their coincidental relationships with reality! Thank goodness that the Democrats are buying into this classic demagogues bullshit. Had they run a centrist candidate not out on the lunatic fringes they might have actually won the Presidency this year. Hell even Lieberman would have crushed McCain. You go girls.

Don’t Ask the Hard Questions about Obama yet…wait a few. Wait till we see the whites of his eyes then unleash all the stories regarding his insane friends and supporters, his Chicago connections, his dirty dealings and his lovely wife….

In the paranoid hateful world of Obama’s pastor and Michelle Obama that title will be racist. It is merely a take off of the old army admonition to soldiers to wait till you cannot miss.

All along this election season it has seemed to me, especially after theDemocrats narrowed it down to Obama and Billary, that we couldn’t lose the Presidency. Now with Obama taking a serious lead it seems even more likely that we will hold on to the Presidency. But we cannot fire prematurely.

Let’s not wake up the Democrats to the idiocy of nominating someone we can destroy so quickly that the nomination of McGovern will seem in comparison a brilliant maneuver. So if it were possible for me to be the leader of the Republicans I would ask our allies to lay back. Let the enemy, and Obama much more than Hillary is an enemy of the United States, be nominated to run against McCain. Then fire broadsides against a man who makes it so easy.

Does the Senator believe, as his revered pastor does (and as that pastor’s congregation apparently does too) that HIV was made in a government lab? Perhaps someone should ask him. Perhaps someone should have been asking this stuff six months ago.

The Corner on National Review Online

So Derb I would say we should be thankful that those questions have not been asked. The longer we wait the surer it becomes that he will be the nominee. With Obama as the nominee then we can have a field day of destroying that America Hater’s chance of winning more than 35% of the vote. The irony will be that McCain, who struggled to win the nomination, will win the biggest landslide in modern American History.

So lets hold our fires guys and gals…for just a few weeks more. Keep your powder dry…wait till we see the whites of the Democrats eye’s. Then we bring up all these uncomfortable positions and statements of his friends. Patience in this is a virtue. Let’s not forget that our goal is winning the White House not winning debating points prior to the real game.

Holy Smoke! The Ultimate Smoking Gun Against McCain! Jack Wheeler, President Reagan’s Fixer to the Rescue! UPDATED: I CALL BULLSHIT TO THIS ARTICLE UNLESS WHEELER CAN BACK IT UP!

UPDATED: After talking to Jack Wheeler tonight on Blog Radio. Ibelieve that his hatred of McCain has himforgetting that stories of this magnitude need to be backed up with facts. While on the radio I kept thinking to myself, oh my goodness, I am actuallytaking someone seriously whose source is some mysteriousRussian (aren’t they all?)figurewhose code name is “Mr. T”???

There are plenty of reasons to defeat McCain and Wheelers article touches on a few but the big part of this story is a fantasy unless Wheeler can back it up. And no I don’t buy the crap about a few Congressmen being scared of standing up to McCain. I call bullshit to that fantasy. If it is not then they should stand up, unless Honor means nothing to them.

I feel dirty for posting this bullshit but my rules say I cannot take a post down. It has to stand as testament to my occasional stupidity. How embarrassing.

Mark Levin fires back across the bow of Victor Davis Hanson and others…McCain is no Reagan and Reagan was no Moderate RINO.

As we all struggle with the inevitability of McCain’s nomination as the Republican Party Candidate for the Presidency some terrible misinformation is being spread around liberally. (Pardon the Pun) Mark Levin gets it exactly right in this post on the National Review Corner. As an aside it is heartening to see that some in the National Review have not forgotten what being a conservative is all about.

Reagan challenged his party from the Right. He sought the Republican nomination in 1968 against Richard Nixon and lost. He sought the nomination against Gerald Ford in 1976 and lost. He fought the Republican establishment in 1980 as well, including Bob Dole, Howard Baker, and George H. W. Bush, and won. McCain has challenged his party from the Left. I don’t know how many more times I and others have to lay out his record to prove the point. To put a fine point on it, when he had to, Reagan sought compromise from a different set of beliefs and principles than McCain. It does a great disservice to historical accuracy and the current debate to continue to urge otherwise. The Corner on National Review Online

To many Republicans are making the sorts of excuses regarding McCain that make me worry that we have lost our way. McCain is profoundly wrong in so many different areas that having folks compare him to Reagan tells me more about their version of principles than it educates me about why I should vote for McCain.

Here is Victor Davis Hanson giving us some of that McCain is just like Reagan love…yea I know that is not exactly what he is doing but it is close. Bullshit to that nonsense. Victor Davis Hanson has been going off into the wilderness lately.

Reagan, and Bush I and II all adjusted to that unfortunate reality. A Democrat did not appoint Souter, OConnor, or Kennedy, nor raise payroll and gas taxes in the 1980s, nor sign amnesty and de facto open-border legislation in 1986, nor, later, increase federal spending well past the rate of inflation, or offer amnesty again in 2007. Tax cuts were great, but without caps on spending they were unfairly slurred as revenue reducers once deficits soared. Recent Republican congressional scandals mirror-imaged some of the Clinton-era roguery.

Reagans pragmatism on taxes, amnesty, new federal programs and government expansion, was continued by both Bush I and II. In that regard, McCain seems a continuum, not an abject disconnect. His problem is mostly temperament when he strayed he was blunt about what he was doing and sometimes gratuitously offended his base in a way that neither Reagan nor the Bushes dared. That is a legitimate concern of tactical aptitude, but not one so much of ideology.

Back to Mark Levin setting that crap straight.

Let me be more specific, rather than spar in generalities. Reagan would never have used the phrase “manage for profit” as a zinger to put down a Republican opponent. Reagan believed in managing for profit because he believed in free enterprise. That doesn’t mean he didn’t agree to certain tax increases (after fighting for and winning the most massive tax cuts in modern American history), which were incidentally to be accompanied by even greater spending cuts.

McCain believes the oil companies are evil, and said it during one of the debates. Among his first acts as president, Reagan decontrolled the prices of natur
